The Ashtabula County Metropolitan Parks Districts is encouraging local fisher men and women and teens to learn the art of Fly Fishing at a free seminar, Saturday, April 1st at 10 a.m. The event will be held at the Harpersfield Covered Bridge Metropark, on Harpersfield Road, south of State Route 307. Participants will meet at the Southside Pavilion.
A local fishing enthusiast will provide tips on flies, casting techniques and clues for finding the best fishing spots. Participants must be 16 years old or older; provide their own equipment and have a current Ohio fishing license.
Those interested in taking part in this seminar should register by calling 440-474-4173. Registration must take place by March 29th.
