Exciting news at Media Magic! Director of Photography, David Walker, will be the lead on an interview shoot for GRB Entertainment, out of Sherman Oaks, California. GRB produces Emmy award-winning programming forA&E series, Intervention, along with boundary-pushing, provocative programming, including Pregnant & Dating for WE tv, Showdown of the Unbeatables for Nat Geo, Fame in the Family for E!; Wives With Beehives for TLC; and season 8 of Untold Stories of the ER for Discovery Fit & Health and TLC. Media Magic is proud to announce that today we are kicking off our long-term documentary and public awareness project, with creation of an online press / media kit and social media marketing for The Vincina Protocol Project – Prevention, Treatment and Cure for ALS / Lou Gehrig’s Disease , The project is spearheaded by Michael Helfinstine, of Conneaut, Ohio, in Ashtabula County, who recently lost his beloved wife Vincina ‘Squeak’ Helfinstine, to this cruel and devastating disease.  It was Squeak’s greatest wish that Mike carry on the fight for a proper medical treatment and diagnosis protocol, so doctors could spot and treat patients in the early stages of ALS, before it becomes too late to make a difference, as it was her case. Got Postcards? Here’s A Direct Mail Marketing Deal !

Are you looking for an easy and cost effective way to use Postcards to market your business? I came across this solution while reading a response by Barry Caputo of  the Marsid M and M Group,  in a popular marketing blog. He suggested using a service by the USPS called E.D.D.M. (Every Door Direct Mail). EDDM lets you pay a flat fee to mail a large postcard without the need for a mailing list. Just have the postcards printed and bundle them according to postal regulations (bundles of 100 pieces) and take them to the post office.  I checked it out for myself. For instance, I went to the map on their site, selected my select target area in Ashtabula and picked two particular routes: one going therough the central business district and one going through the main industrial district. The total delivery cost was $185 – not bad, for hitting every door and PO box in that area.
